Meet the Doctor

Dr. Deshmukh is a native St. Louisan. He attended Parkway West High School and St. Louis University prior to starting dental school at Washington University. He completed his dental studies in 1992 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dental Medicine. In June 1994 he completed his periodontal and implant training from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. 

Dr. Deshmukh has been in private practice since 1994. He has also taught at SIU Dental School in Alton as a Clinical instructor and given lectures in the U.S. and India, in conjunction with the Indian Dental Association. He donates his time and skills to the community by volunteering at health fairs and allowing students to shadow him. Dr. Deshmukh has also been involved with mission trip to Honduras to serve those who do not have access to dental care.

Dr. Deshmukh and his lovely wife have two children. He is involved with his children's activities, like helping coach baseball, soccer and robotics. His hobbies include cooking, photography, travel and he is a big foodie.

Dr. Deshmukh is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, St. Louis Central Dental Study Club, fellow of International College of Dentists, Indian Medical Counsel, President of the St. Louis Central Dental Study Club and Former Secretary for 23 years of the Southwest Counties District of the Greater St. Louis Dental Society.

Dr. Deshmukh in addition to St. Louis maintains an office in Sullivan, MO and is in that office on Wednesdays.
